Cooperative of Photography

Originally from Slovakia, based in Bratislava, photographer Marek Wurfl has a background in drawing, painting and airbrushing. Marek draws inspiration from the works of Dutch painters, such as Jan van Eyck and Hans Memling, striving to capture the inspiration and experience that is life, within a single still moment.

Marek works with local fashion houses in the creation of each of his intimate portraits. Marek says about his work, “What I prefer about photography, compared to painting, is that you could freeze time, take one frame from life and capture the emotion. I love that.”
