Photo: Benoit Pioulard

“I've been making sounds and pictures since I was five or six years old, and recall using my grandfather's disposable flashbulbs as some of my first toy building blocks around that time.” Benoit Pioulard is a photographer and musician, currently residing in Brooklyn. Benoit utilizes a Polaroid Sun600, which he states was his “first-ever gear crush.” The images in this series were taken with an SX70, and will be featured for a book/music project titled, “SYLVA.” The book will be released on November 15, 2019. We asked Benoit questions, questions that could only be answered with images..
