VISUAL Q&A: Djeneba Aduayom

Djeneba Aduayom began her career as a professional backup dancer, working with artists: Robbie Williams, Diana Ross, Prince and Tina Turner. Her work is influenced by her dance background and her French, Italian, African heritage. Djeneba says, “As a self taught photographer, I feel that looking through the viewfinder and taking images is like looking inside my own self and my inner world and it enables me to channel and express emotions as well as connecting with people in a simple, genuine and intimate way.”

We ask Djeneba questions, questions that can only be answered with images…
